Heat and moisture transfer in porous media exhibits obvious interactive characteristics. Temperature gradients can induce liquid water migration, water vapor diffusion, and phase change, while changes in moisture content can alter the effective thermal conductivity, heat capacity, and local temperature distribution, forming a continuously evolving heat and mass coupled transfer process. Based on classical heat and moisture transfer theories and experimental results on soil and porous building materials, this paper analyzes the action laws of liquid-phase migration, gas-phase diffusion, latent heat transfer, and non-uniform humidity distribution, and discusses the effects of porosity, moisture content, pore size structure, temperature gradient, and boundary conditions. The study shows that heat and mass transfer parameters have strong state dependence, and dynamic parameter characterization and multi field joint testing are important approaches to improving prediction accuracy.
